prayer ministry

One of the most beautiful aspects of being in a faith community together is the opportunity we are given to be at prayer with one another. We set aside specific time in our worship to share the celebrations and sorrows that enter into our lives. And we invite those around us to join in prayer about them.

Outside of our worship, the invitation to prayer continues with the published list of names in our newsletter, as well as the list maintained in the church office of those “aging in place,” whether at home or in skilled care facilities so that we may be in prayer with and for each of them.

Each week, community prayers will be gathered and prayed for by at least a dozen individuals living into our shared promises of love, support and care for one another… and the truth that we are never alone on this journey.

If you are interested in submitting a prayer request, you may do so in the chat features on Facebook and YouTube on Sunday mornings or by completing the online form below.

Use the Prayer Request form to invite the church to hold you and those whom you name in prayer as an act of community and love.

Please note: The public list that is found in our newsletter is compiled with expressed permission from those who are listed. Many times, these names represent those in our faith community undergoing treatment, rehabilitation or preparing for upcoming procedures.
