On Monday, September 21st at 7:00 p.m. Newman Church will host a panel discussion around the 1st Rhode Island Regiment experiences of Black soldiers, and Native Americans participating in the Revolutionary War. Light refreshments will be served following the discussion with a chance to meet the panel participants.
At 6:30 p.m. docents will be available in Newman Cemetery to escort folks wanting to explore the newly renovated Revolutionary War gravestones. There are also QR codes stationed throughout the cemetery to assist in a self guided tour.
