Hello friends,
We’re on the move in the Spirit!
This Sunday we’ll welcome the youngest among us for a new year of Faith Formation and church school. In worship we will sing wonderful hymns, starting with “Love Divine, All Loves Excelling,” and offer our love to God in prayer.
We will hear a message about God’s frustration with Abraham for being unquestioningly obedient — a story that may lead us to find hope in the midst of crisis in this scripture.
It will be a special day at the church!
It has been wonderful reconnecting with community members after the summer at worship last week, at the Widow’s Might lunch, and the Friday morning Faith-Based Discussions. I look forward to more gatherings with everyone soon!
